Section 151
Standards, guidelines or procedures that can be implemented
: (1) The Ministry may create and implement standards, guidelines or procedures as necessary to conduct the operations of cooperative organizations in an orderly and effective manner, including registration, operation, inspection and monitoring, subject to this Act or the rules made under this Act.
(2) When making standards according to sub-section (1), a separate standard can be made in the case of organizations or associations that deal mainly with savings and loans based on internationally recognized standards adopted for the protection of member's savings and institutional sustainability.
(3) Nepal Rastra Bank and other related bodies may be consulted when making the standards as per sub-sections (1) and (2).
